Burnout & stress

Running on empty?

Exhausted even after a weekend off. Dreading Monday from Sunday afternoon. Snapping at people you love. Burnout creeps up slowly, from work, studies or caring for others, and it doesn't fix itself with one holiday.

Signs of burnout

Exhaustion

Tired in a way sleep doesn't fix, and getting sick more often.

Cynicism

Not caring about work you used to care about, and feeling detached from it all.

Getting less done

Everything takes longer, focus slips, and you feel like you're failing.

Spillover

Irritability, poor sleep, and no energy left for friends, family or yourself.

Burnout or depression?

They overlap. One rough guide: burnout is mostly tied to one area, like work or studies, and eases with real rest. Depression tends to colour everything, and rest doesn't lift it. Either way, it's worth talking to someone, and we can help you work out which it is.

How counselling helps

We look at what's draining you and what's in your control, then work on the practical side: boundaries you can actually hold, saying no without guilt, and recovering properly.

We also look at the deeper side: perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the belief that rest has to be earned.

Fitting therapy around work

Sessions are online and 50 minutes long, with morning, evening and weekend slots depending on the therapist. Working professionals pay ₹1,000 flat. See prices.
